Summary:
Most of the women in Mali, West Africa are living in poverty. However they are sitting on a potential goldmine. (FYI, I am Peace Corps Volunteer living in Mali, West Africa. I work with women associations who are fully devoted to producing Shea butter. Peace Corps Mali volunteers are working on training women on the new transformation process but the market for shea lotion is less than adequate for these women. I will write more information with specific areas of need at a later date.)
