Event Description:
The University of Tennessee, Institute for Public Service (IPS), the University of Tennessee at Martin (UTM), College of Business, and the University's Regional Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (REED) Center has established an event during “Global Entrepreneurial Week”. Currently, IPS and the REED Center are working to gather successful local entrepreneurs for a discussion panel to discuss their experiences with a group of students taking an introduction to entrepreneurship class this semester at the University of Tennessee at Martin. UTM and the REED Center serve the Northwest TN area. This collaborative effort is aimed at enhancing the course by allowing students to go beyond the theories discussed in class. Moreover, students will be able to learn from practitioners and ask questions. Currently the event will be held during the morning of Thursday, November 20th from 9:30 to 10:45 AM.
