Goals & objectives The Entrepreneurs Day seeks to connect, educate, engage and inspire high potential students interested in developing their entrepreneurial skills. This project seeks to: To provide an opportunity for students to network with and learn from other students, staff and entrepreneurs that share a common interest. To show students the importance of goal setting and continuous learning during and after university. To give students an insight into entrepreneurship and how they can become one. To inspire students to broaden their thinking about entrepreneurship and engage themselves in new initiatives that will develop their entrepreneurial skills. Project Description The project entails a one day workshop on entrepreneurship that will be attended by high potential business students.Ideally, the sessions will be conducted by an academic staff, a Massey Alumni (that is a successful/emerging entrepreneur), and an emerging/successful entrepreneur. The diversity of speakers will enable students to gain a wide spectrum of views about entrepreneurship. The workshop could be structured in a way that specifically addresses the following questions: What is Entrepreneurship? - addresses what it is and what it takes to become one How to turn an idea into success? – addressing planning and implementation How to fully capitalise on your degree and university life? – addresses the importance of creating a vision, developing goals to achieve it and life long learning.

Adam has featured on both TV1 and TV2, been interviewed on live radio numerous times and has had newspaper and magazine articles printed about him. Adam has recently completed his brand new book titled ‘Take the Plunge Now’, a personal development tool that is sure to spark it’s reader into action. Adam is a fun presenter to listen to and has spoken to hundreds of people in audiences all over New Zealand. Property Investing, Business Ownership and Entrepreneurial challenges are of great interest. It is his passion for helping other young people that they too can achieve their goals is what gets Adam out of bed each day.
