Event Name: The Big Idea Competition

Event Description:
The Big Idea rewards University of Glasgow students for developing new and innovative ideas. We have two Big Idea competitions: one for undergraduates and one for postgraduate students. There is a prize pool of £1,000 for each competition with the winner of each receiving £500 cash! The top 3 entries across both categories will also receive an invite to enter the Scottish Institute for Enterprise Scotland wide Enterprising Ideas Competition. What we want All you have to do is develop a business idea that you think would be successful. That could be a new product, new service or even a new market for an existing product/service. What's more, you don’t actually have to set up in business, just come up with the idea! To enter describe your idea in no more than 1,000 words paying attention to what the idea is, why it’s needed, who it’s for and how you would promote it. Find out the rules at www.glasgow.ac.uk/studententerprise. Deadline The deadline for entries is Wednesday 19th November at 10am!
