The Centre for Women's Enterprise (University of Bedfordshire) and the Marsh Farm Community Development Trust are delighted to be able to invite you to a no cost event to celebrate Women's Enterprise Day as part of Global Enterprise Week. This event, held on Women's Enterprise Day as a part of Global Enterprise Week, aims to celebrate women and their achievements in enterprise. All women will be welcome to join us in our celebration of women in enterprise, regardless of whether they own a business, are interested to start a business, are looking to return to work or are in employment. The event will be offered at NO COST and you only need to complete a brief booking form to secure your place, available by emailing Julie Tysoe at julie.tysoe@beds.ac.uk / 01582 489041 to secure your place. Our activites for the day include: Informal networking Market place of Women owned businesses Speakers of successful women who have set up their business Inspirational thought sharing activity An African drumming band providing entertainment with a global flavour There is also limited opportunity for women owned businesses to hold a stall in our market place at the heavily sudsidised rate of £10 and for them to promote themselves in our delegate bags - please contact us for further details. The event is a great opportunity to meet and mix with other women from varied backgrounds and for those already in business or employment this offers a valuable oportunity for you to informally network with other women in business in a relaxed environment - I'm sure you will agree this is a great opportunity to generate business opportunities and support each other in the current economic climate.
