Event Description:
We want to run a one day project called (1) “Youth Street Graffiti Arts Show on Canvas” We will first search for all graffiti arts done on walls in the streets and clean them. By the end of the project, the streets will be cleaner, greener and safer. (2)The focus will be on self help (DIY) initiatives, creating opportunities for young people, (3) The project will meet the community social needs for youth, and turning all negativities about young people into positive results. (4) At the end of the street cleaning event, young people will display some of their talents on Canvas using Brushes, Spray Cane-paints, Multi- Colour Paints, and then Stage a Spoken Word Performance to bring the beauty of Arts and Poems to the general public.

Dorset v has been supporting and developing youth volunteering within the Shire County of Dorset for 18 months, with the aim to change the negative misconceptions of youth in society. We are looking to celebrate and accredit young people aged 16-25, who have made positive contributions within their communities through their voluntary work. We will be inviting organisations to demonstrate their involvement with young people and the work that they have been doing.
