Millikin University Entrepreneurship Center
Event Description:
The Carlinville Entrepreneurship Center will also conduct a two-part business start-up workshop for 25 students at the Tri-County Beauty Academy on Wednesday & Thursday, November 19 & 20, in Litchfield. He will discuss the various options available to the future cosmetologists. While some may choose to go to work for an established salon, others will be considering renting space in a salon or opening a salon of their own. The workshop was scheduled earlier this year when the academy’s owner attended the center’s Six-Week Start-Up course so she could be a more informed resource to those students who wanted assistance in setting up their own business. Art Knippel, center director, will then be available to work on a one-on-one basis with graduates who want to open their own business.
