National Pushcart Challenge 2008

Event Description:
Organized by the Centre for Innovation & Enterprise (CIE), Republic Polytechnic, the National Pushcart Challenge was initiated as a platform for all secondary schools who have participated in the Entrepreneurship Education Program (EEP). Through this competition, secondary schools will be given the opportunity to pit their entrepreneurial skills with each other in this one day nationwide competition. Held annually, this competition seeks to raise the profile of the EEP as well as to bring together schools on a common entrepreneurial platform to enhance students’ learning. With a total of 132 students from 22 schools participating in this year’s competition, National Pushcart Challenge 2008 will prove to be an exciting inter secondary school competition. This year will see the defending champions Catholic High School pitting their entrepreneurial skill sets against schools such as St Andrew’s Secondary as well as Cedar Girls’ School. Come on down to Toa Payoh HDB Hub to catch the 1st hand competition and witness the crowning of the champions by none other than the President of the Republic of Singapore, his excellency Mr SR Nathan. Registration is closed.
