More than War Heros!
There are millions of war vets all around the world. Here is one interesting idea on how we can help this part of society actively engage. I received this email today from a US Regional Director in
I’m in El Paso as I type this at a conference to encourage
entrepreneurship in persons with disabilities (see the link at
http://pronetos.com***) and the star of the show is my friend Mike
Haynie at Syracuse University, who’s started a truly amazing program
to help disabled vets to join the entrepreneurial world. I’m damned
proud to know this guy. (And fortunately, I get to speak before him,
LOL). I’ve seen the curriculum & it’s superb - exactly what is needed.
The closest of this year’s programs are Texas A&M and UCLA but
proximity is not necessary. The links below tell a great story, but
barely scratch the surface of the impact this program is starting to
make. Please let me know if you can think of anyone in your towns who
